RESPONSIBILITIES:
Medical Technologist responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for performing basic to advanced patient antibody testing as requested, antigen typing, and providing consultation to hospital staff as needed for problem resolution.
- Responsible for providing the most appropriate blood product in a timely and accurate manner.
- Will routinely work with staff outside the facility including, but not limited to, hospital blood bank staff and various vendor representatives.
