RESPONSIBILITIES:
Histology Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs a wide variety of histological and cytological tests and procedures including collection, preparation, observation and processing of tests which provide data for use in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases.
- Performs all testing (patient, quality control, proficiency) which includes, but notlimited to: gross surgical analysis, embedding, microtomy sectioning, staining andcytology prep, in a timely manner and maintains standards for stats and timedtesting.
- Performs all other related duties as required and assigned.
