Location: High Point, NC 27262

Facility: LTC

Length: 9 weeks

Start: ASAP

Shift: 8 hr shift (7a-3p)

Note: Must be covid vaccinated (w/booster if eligible)

CNA Pay Rate: $17/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Provides activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
  • Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information.
  • Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to the nursing supervisor.
  • Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintains work operations by following the policies and procedures of the facility
  • Protects the organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.
  • Enhances nursing department and facility reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Checks residents/patients frequently to ensure that their personal care needs are being met.
  • Treats all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy
  • Maintaining professionalism at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

Step # 1
Resume
  • Nursing license - NC CNA
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association)
  • Skills checklist
  • 2– current -Supervisor references

Step # 2
  • Physical (within the last 12 months)
  • PPD (within the last 12 months)
  • MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap/Flu (or decline)
  • Covid vaccine card
  • COVID – negative result
  • CNA Exams
  • LGBT Training Certification
  • Copy or driver’s license and SS card
  • Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
